Why Warm Butter Post Exists

For a long time, I struggled to understand what people meant when they said, “Do what you love.”

On paper, my life made sense.

I have a degree in biological sciences. I work full-time in clinical research. It’s stable, responsible, practical.

But there was always a quieter part of me , the part that loved writing long birthday cards, choosing paper carefully, sitting with words until they felt honest. The part that found comfort in slow mornings, warm drinks, and small creative rituals.

When I discovered the idea of a snail mail club, something in me moved before I could overthink it.

I started researching paper weights, comparing printers, learning about postage, sketching, drafting letters ; not because it was trending, and not because it was guaranteed to succeed, but because it felt aligned.

Warm Butter Post was created from that alignment.

It exists for people who want to reconnect with themselves.

For those who enjoy their own company.

For those who like to learn or try new things.

" ..When we actively seek out novelty, we form new neural pathways that help keep us young and inspired"- James McCrae in The Art of You

For anyone learning to slow down without feeling behind.

This isn’t about becoming a better version of yourself.

It’s about sitting with who you already are.

Each envelope is designed to feel like a pause; something you open intentionally, maybe in silence, maybe with tea in hand. A small ritual in the middle of a fast world.

I don’t claim to have everything figured out. I’m building this slowly, imperfectly, and honestly. Every letter and every piece of art is created by me, as part of my own practice of choosing presence over perfection.

Even if this stays small, it feels meaningful.

If you’re here, maybe you’re craving something slower too.

Welcome to Warm Butter Post.
